É Nós

In-studio.

At its core, ESEU266 is an ongoing investigation into the relationship between body and garment. The studio approaches dressing as a collaborative process, exploring how form, fabric, and movement shape the way clothing is experienced and lived in. Every garment is completed through its interaction with the wearer, making community an essential part of the studio's practice.

Translating from Brazilian Portuguese, as "it's us", É Nós emerged from this understanding. Developed in collaboration with photographer Bowen Aricò, the project celebrates the people who continue to shape ESEU266 through their trust, individuality, and ongoing dialogue with the studio.

Rather than styling a collection, É Nós observes clothing as it already exists within each person's daily life. Participants wear garments from their own wardrobes alongside their own ESEU pieces, allowing personal histories, habits, and ways of dressing to become part of the narrative. Image-making becomes an act of observation rather than representation, where the focus remains on the relationship between garment, body, movement, and character.

É Nós reflects ESEU266's belief that clothing gains meaning from the lives it accompanies. It is a celebration of community, not only those who wear the garments, but the shared conversations, trust, and experiences that continue to shape the studio's evolving practice.
